While Indonesia media is still busy reporting on earthquake and its aftermath, world media seems to have another: the alleged massacre carried out by US marines in a Iraqi town called Haditha. It’s a slap for Bush who–following this coverage– promises to have a ‘core values’ training towards US and allied forces in Iraq in the wake of this scandal
To make matters worse, the new Iraq PM, whose election strongly supported by Bush administration unequivocally condemned and describe it as “a terrible crime”
… the deaths of 24 Iraqis in the western town of Haditha last November, apparently at the hands of US marines, was a “terrible crime”.
The crime and misery of Haditha … is a terrible crime where women and children were eliminated
Tom Raum of Associated Press thinks the Haditha scandal could be synonimous with US military disgrace just like Vietnam’s My Lai and just recently Abu Ghraib. Well, don’t forget also to enlist Guantanamo

In my not-so-humble opinion,
Most of those detained in Guantanamo deserve to be there. Let them stay there instead of running around killing women and children.
