Yogyakarta Indonesia Earthquake (2)

The death toll of the earthquake till date almost 3,000 or 2,986 people to be precise. The data quoted from search and rescue team and reported by Kompas on Saturday night at 22.00 local time (+7 hrs GMT). Most victims are from Bantul regency 2,500 people, Yogyakarta 101 deads, Sleman 55, and Kulon Progo 27 people.

According to Detik online President SBY (Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono) will make an emergency office in Yogyakarta for a few days ahead to enable him coordinating directly the earthquake rescue mission and relief efforts.

Yogyakarta airport will open on Monday

In the meanwhile, Transportation minister Hatta Rajasa said that Yogyakarta airport Adi Sucipto will be reopened on Monday and asks a contractor company PT Angkasapura to rebuild and restore some damages caused by the quake.
