This is why I applaud their (virtually) ad-free policy, which has made WP.com the cleanest blog hosting community I've ever seen in the interweb (and they have great user support too!). I've read somewhere that 40%-70% of blogger.com's blogs are just spam, and blogger's team are known for their unresponsiveness in this matter. Being No. 1 Blogging Service in terms of popularity is meaningless if most of their blogs are plain rubbish.
