من المتوقع أن يقر البرلمان اليمني قريباً حزمة من التعديلات الدستورية تمكن إحداها الرئيس اليمني الحالي علي عبد الله صالح من البقاء رئيساً مدى الحياة.
The Yemeni parliament is expected to approve a package of constitutional amendments soon , one of which enables Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh to remain president for life.
Parlemen Yaman akan segera menyetujui paket perubahan konstitusional, salah satunya memungkinkan presiden Yaman Ali Abdullah Saleh untuk menjadi presiden seumur hidup.
وذلك عن طريق إقرار مادة يتم بموجبها “خفض مدة الرئاسة من سبع سنوات إلى خمس سنوات إلى جانب عدم تحديد عدد الولايات”. ومن أبرز التعديلات الدستورية التي من المتوقع أيضاً إقرارها تخصيص 44 مقعدا من البرلمان للنساء من أصل 301 مقعدا.
