جاء بجريدة الوطني الإماراتية أن: الامارات كانت تستهوي عادةً أولئك الذين يسعون لاقتناء المجوهرات بدلا من السبائك. وقال السيد عوني: “الناس يأتون إلي هنا لشراء الذهب في شكل مجوهرات بفضل الأمن وكذلك التصميم والجودة العالية. ولكن هذا الأمر سيدفع المواطنين إلى شراء الذهب والاستثمار فيه. من الممكن أن يؤدي هذا الأمر إلى تزايد الطلب علي شراء الذهب كاستثمار. ”
